Heavy Mechanical Complex signs contracts with 6 prominent Chinese Companies

The Heavy Mechanical Complex (HMC) situated in Taxila on Thursday has signed business agreements with 6 of the Chinas very prominent Business companies. These companies are basically from the fields of steel, ventilation and air conditioning, industry-academia exchanges, industrial engineering and transfer of technology.

These contracts to work together were signed in a proper ceremony which was hosted by Pakistan’s Embassy in Beijing and HMC. Ms Naghmana A Hashmi, the Ambassador of Pakistan to China spoke on the occasion and congratulated HMC on their partnership with such prestigious companies for win-win collaboration.

The ceremony was being held through video link, this clearly demonstrated that Pakistan and China are capable to adjust in all sorts of circumstances and progress with their all-weather mutual strategic collaboration irrespective of all the trials.

She said that “recently, our collaboration has been established in the form of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor”

Asim Bajwa, special assistant to Prime Minister, also the Chairman of CPEC authority was the Chief Guest of this event. In addition to this Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Yao Jing, Chairman Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission and top management of HMC also joined this signing ceremony.

Ambassador Hashmi took this opportunity and mentioned that CPEC has proven more about the fundamental value of Pakistan and China friendship. She said that the second phase of CPEC will have even more worthy progress which would also enhance the industrial abilities and capacities and modernization. Despite of the current pandemic this mutual collaboration between HMC and leading Chinese companies will further play a vital role in the industrial capacity cooperation.
